Shaped and Developed new program for Component Engineering Asset Management for Ethicon Medical Device Suppliers. -Created a new 20 step standard process for replacement, refurbishment, and repair tooling projects (including plastic injection molding, MIM, stamping, machining, and other technologies). -Created a RACI which established the roles and responsibilities for 16 cross-functional partners in order to have better accountability for execution of the 20 step process-Responsible for managing a rolling project portfolio of over 150 component tooling projects. -Responsible for day-to-day execution of the end to end process for project completion. -Partnered with cross-functional SMEs (R&D, Supplier Quality, Plant Quality, Component Engineering Team and others) to gain alignment for validation activities for each project. -Increased throughput of completed Asset Management Replacement and Refurbishment projects by 38% in Year 1 of the new program.

Life Cycle Engineering Product Team Lead-As a Product Focus Team Lead, I have project management responsibility for Ethicon’s entire powered endocutter device portfolio, to include the execution and leadership of design changes to improve customer quality, manufacturing changes to improve plant efficiency, as well as the management of supplier capacity and replacement tooling to ensure a continuity of component supply to our manufacturing site. This includes leading cross functional teams (e.g. R&D, Quality, Plant Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, Sterilization, etc.) through end to end execution of supply chain based projects.

-Executed a developmental rotational assignment as a Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) in the Sourcing/Procurement department for 13 months.-Maintained business, costing, and relationship responsibility for 6 Metal Component suppliers including various manufacturing processes (metal injection molding, stamping, machining, wire cutting, etc).-Responsible for leading component pricing negotiations with external supplier business partners to reduce company costs. This included cost modeling, in-person negotiations, and market assessments as well as exploring new technology for future supply. -Drafted and implemented new contracts with external suppliers to ensure long term supply continuity at improved pricing for the business. -Lead Business Reviews with 6 external suppliers to improve partnership/relationship as well as to focus on continuous improvement of supply chain and supply chain optimization. -Responsible for planning capacity increases and replacement tooling cadence at external suppliers, based on evolving needs of Ethicon's medical device portfolio.
