I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and dedicated teacher. Through my student teaching and many field placements (which have been in Valparaiso, Merrillville, and Michigan city, IN), I have learned and used balanced literacy with students as well as worked closely with Fountas and Pinnell’s reading strategies. Due to this information I have learned, I am knowledgeable in creating, delivering, and differentiating lessons that are engaging and informative to help further students in their academic journey. I am also familiar with M-Class testing and I-Ready diagnostics due to all of my field placements being in Indiana.
