As an REU student, I helped create and test thin film solar cell samples, and learned the basic physics and chemistry behind thin film solar cells. Since August 2022, I have been working research projects about bifacial and tandem thin film solar cells using Solar Cell Capacitance Software.

As an energy intern at UMM's Office of Sustainability, I helped enter campus electricity data into Minnesota's B3 Benchmarking system, created educational materials about flow batteries, and started a project analyzing on how to discharge a battery on campus to minimize peak demand. I also worked with other interns to figure out if the energy meters on campus are working.

As a tutor, I helped students in introductory physics, chemistry, and math courses with homework and understanding concepts. I have also lead weekly study groups for Principles of Physics, Calculus 2, and Precalculus. During the Fall 2023 semester, I also worked as a Learning Assistance mentor and helped with peer observations and planning for the learning assistance team.

Works with other students and offices to support residents in on campus housing. Plans events, keeps residents up to date on policies and campus resources, and works on call to help out residents.

As an REU student at the University of North Dakota, I worked with other undergraduate and graduate students on a project synthesizing and testing the photoluminescence of carbon nanodots.

Created lesson plans and lead youth gymnastics classes. Worked with kids ages 3-17.

Planned and lead online office hours for high school students taking AP Physics 1. Answered student questions and created practice problems.
