I managed a team of full time and contract instructors that provided custom SharePoint and SharePoint related classes internationally. I was responsbile for the recruitment and development of instructors and ensured they complete a lengthy development process before delivering Mindsharp content. In addition to the management responsibilities I also delivered an average of two weeks a month on SharePoint 2007/2010 Administration Core Technologies, SharePoint 2010 Advanced Administration, as well as SharePoint 2007/2010 Power End User class using both Live and Online modalities in both a public and private format. Implemented new technologies and procedures like protected electronic courseware reducing printing costs by hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.Co-authored the MS Press SharePoint 2010 Administrator's Companion Book and spoke at several SharePoint Conferences and SharePoint Saturdays. I also blog and tweet SharePoint and SQL Server specific information to assist the SharePoint and SQL Server communities.

As a Senior Technical Instructor at SkillSoft I present Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Microsoft Active Directory, SQL Server 2000, and PMP Exam Preparation international classes to students using a proprietary Web-based technology. In addition to delivering these courses I also provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to our development teams on Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Microsoft Active Directory, SQL Server 2000/2005 and project management. When requested I provide SQL Server 2000 expertise to our on-site SQL Server database personnel. In addition to the Microsoft courses, I also assist with the Business Skills courses, and I design, build, and present custom courses, such as the Thomson Corporate CompTool. During this time I was a Senior Technical Instructor as described in the SkillSoft position.As the manager of the mentoring team I recruited, trained, and managed employees who possessed the skills necessary to provide 24x7x365 international support for our entire course library including; Microsoft, Cisco, Business Skills, Project Management, and others. I also maintained a web-based schedule for the employees. In addition to managing the team, I also worked with the Sales team to help generate additional revenue. Furthermore, I researched, acquired, and implemented new features and functionality including independent quality surveys to ensure we were providing a high quality service to our students. Additionally, I ensured all processes, procedures, and technologies were well documented to expedite the training of new-hires. I also conducted weekly meetings for updates, feedback, and general discussions to ensure we maintained open communications.

In this role I delivered Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 curriculum in public and private classroom environments, as well as Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server 2000 curriculum in these two environments. I also provided SQL Server on-site consulting to ExecuTrain clients and I presented Microsoft 1 day hands-on seminars in public classroom environments around the country.I also delivered Microsoft TCP/IP curriculum in public and private classroom environments in addition to Microsoft IIS and IE curriculum to both audiences. Furthermore, I kept abreast of technical changes in scheduled releases of Microsoft products and maintained my Microsoft certifications (MCSE + I, MCDBA, and MCT).
