I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a concentration in Banking. My intentions after graduating were to engage in a career in banking as a financial analyst. Unfortunately the year I graduated First Union and Wachovia were going through a merger which created a hiring freeze in the Charlotte banking industry. This forced me to look outside of banking and led me to Financial Independence Group, now one of the largest independent insurance distribution organizations in the country. When I was hired in 2001 I was the 12th employee of this company and our annual annuity sales were under $50 million. I have had a great opportunity to be a part of exponential growth with this company through the years. I have developed great relationships with many advisors all around the country.I am very grateful that I can help influence the lives of independent financial advisors both personally and financially by providing a set of tailored and unique services.
