Company profile: Development and support for Wireless chip set solutions.Tasks:While working for IFX/Intel I worked with RF driver development (embedded ‘C’) and Product Maintenance Support.The development was done on a low cost embedded controller platform and included adaption of solutions from other platforms as well as implementation of new features in the RF driver. This was done in connection with a wide range of hardware variants (entry phones) based on the given platform. As a function of the maintenance support I had close contact to one of the main customer and trained the external consultants of this customer. Main tasks were to debug issues found during type approval, Field test and production. Tools used: trace analysis and Lauterbach debuggerThe support was performed through telephone conference, mail and customer visits. As the work included close customer interaction and was performed in an international environment, I gained a high degree of customer understanding/support and intercultural understanding; Latin America, China, and India.

Company profile:Providing cylinder lubrication equipment for maritime 2-stroke diesel engines.Tasks: I was responsible for planning, coordination and reporting in connection with the technical drawing office. I acted as sparring partner to the R&D department, involving me in various problem tracings and following problem solving. Including documentation for R&D, production, service engineers and in connection with aftersales. In parallel to this I was responsible for managing the ‘Tech Mail box’, where all technical requests from customers and vendors where located. I had direct customer support in connection to technical guidance, answering technical requests and notice on lack of conformity.

Company profile: Development and support for Wireless chip set solutions - SDR.Tasks: While working for Solution Delivery at TI, I delivered training and guiding on layout and general application issues on several chip set platforms. This was performed through telephone conference, mail, customer visits and ‘face to face’ meetings at the customers, mainly asia. Additional to this validation of sub vendor components and direct problem tracing was part of the job. I was responsible for the technical support for a wide range of customers within the wireless world, including the top 3 mobil phone manufactures and a range of ODM manufactures. Resulting in a large number of mobile phones launched to the market. Through the last two years at TI, I had the pleasure to work directly together with the main customer. Together with the main customer I was involved in all technical tasks; design, verification, reporting and negation of technical aspects in connection with tree projects. This was mainly for GSM/EDGE/UMTS systems. But I also had the opportunity to study on Bluetooth and DVB-H systems. This work has given me extended knowledge on RF designs and how to make a ‘best practice’ product. Including all steps from idea, through specification/design, verification and yield optimization to high volume production.
