Co-founded company with current CEO. Responsibilities included developing the organizations business strategy and model, establishing our health system joint ventures and recruiting and managing the sales team. Led the successful negotiations and closing of 9 major healthcare systems representing over 30 hospitals in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia. Major systems included Ascension, Inova, Tenet, The University of Tennessee Medical Center, Erlanger Health System and other large healthcare systems within the southeast.

Responsibilities included marketing and selling a multi-million dollar software solution to majorhealthcare systems throughout the United States. Led teams through 12 to 18 month complexenterprise software sales cycles to senior level executives and physicians representing major healthcaresystems that included Tenet, Ascension Health, Kaiser Permanente, Hackensack UniversityMedical Center, Meridian Health, Virtua Health and others. Successfully closed in excess of$50ml in software sales during career with Emageon and developed long-standing industryrelationships. Built successful team that continues to excel in their respective careers.

Responsibilities included developing physician, hospital and ancillary agreements with providersto service various managed care products offered by the start-up health maintenanceorganization (HMO). Mr. Booth and his team successfully negotiated fee-for-service and capitatedagreements with over 1,000 providers in the southeast. Built successful network developmentand provider relations team.

Responsibilities with MedPartners (acquired by CVS) included analyzing physician practice acquisition opportunities and negotiating the purchase of medical practices. Mr. Booth was successful in opening and developing new markets in the southeast as the organization grew from no revenue to a publicly traded company with in excess of a $3bl market cap. MedPartners exited through its Caremark PBM sell to CVS.
