Duties include overseeing all aspects of management of Nextgen family of companies including Nextgen Development LLC, Nextgen Construction LLC and Nextgen Property Management LLC. Nextgen Development and Construction duties consisted of identifying projects, financial analysis, obtaining financing and project planning and oversight of new projects. Projects include new construction, complete renovations as well as Condo conversions. Mr. Brown oversees the renovation of existing building in addition the construction of new buildings ranging from townhouses to multifamily. The property management includes overseeing the management a Multimillion property asset base consisting of a mix of commercial, multifamily and residential property. Approximately 46% of the property management is affordable housing and 36% is targeted for Military. Responsible for cash management and business success during difficult real-estate economy downturn during 2008-2010 during a time that resulted in the bankruptcy of majority of competitors.Responsible for all aspects of Construction to include: project planning, site management and control, contractor selection and management, site inspections, as well as OSHA and code compliance.

Upon the merger of Dimension into the Nortel ecosystem, my responsibilities shifted to a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Nortel's carrier group. Within this capacity, I was consistently called upon to devise and implement agile tactical strategies, especially in response to market shifts signaled by announcements from industry giants like Cisco and Lucent. This required not only a deep understanding of our own operational landscape but also an astute awareness of the broader competitive arena.

Duties initially involved presale engineering and project management. Duties consisted of forming a business planning and strategic planning division, business development and partnering development. Client projects included business planning, product definition, product positioning, and product roll-out. Strategic efforts (and in some cases tactical execution) were developed in some of the following areas: CLECs, ISPs, ASPs, Ebusiness and or Data Centers. Responsibility to identify and negotiate acquisitions for companies in the microwave and Internet industries on behalf of clients. Package and negotiate the sale of technology companies (3). Major contributor to the growth company's revenues from $600K annually in 1995 to $18M annually in 2000 (up until the acquisition by Nortel). Significant contributor to Dimension's being identified as one of the fastest growing technical firms in the Mid-Atlantic.  Responsible for approximately 40% of the business growth. Responsible for the 20% of company projects which were outside of the United States.  Approximately 40% of the business developed was outside the United States.
