The National MPS Society is a National non-profit that exists to cure, support and advocate for MPS (Mucopolysaccharidoses) and ML (Mucolipidosis), genetic lysosomal storage diseases. The mission serves individuals, families and friends affected by MPS through supporting research, supporting families, and working to increase public and professional awareness.

Co-Founded a Non-Profit 501(c)3, Action for Autism, to serve St. Louis and the surrounding communities who are affected by Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Startup included gaining Tax Exempt Status, creating an Executive Board, and creating and executing fundraising events. We merged with a private special needs school and therapy center in 2010, adding a middle/high school in 2011. Restructured the organization in 2011, resulting in cash flow increases and facility improvements. In 2012 I took over all Human Resources responsibilities including hiring, firing, contract negotiation, and payroll. As VP of Events, I'm in charge of six major fundraisers (along with countless 3rd party events) from inception to completion. These six major fundraisers, which bring in an average of $225k yearly, are used for scholarships, facility improvements, and operating activities. Today, we have 45+ students, 40+ employees, and I'm responsible for Human Resources, Events, short and long term Strategy, and numerous other tasks required to run a Non-Profit.

Co-Founded Locherton Group, LLC, a Private Investment Company, in 2005. We purchased two Plastic Profile Companies in 2006 and 2007, merging the two in late 2007. As Manager of Marketing & Corporate Development, I performed the dual role of creating all marketing materials for the merged company, Tigerhawk Profiles, while continuing the search for additional M&A targets. I left in 2012 due to increasing work load and additional roles required at AFA Academy, which I co-founded in 2008.
