Conducted research on the flow structure interaction of two tandem cylinders and their oscillating behaviors at various inflow velocities.• Performed tests to gather data to validate results with published research papers.• Used SOLIDWORKS to design iced cylinder profiles, mounts, and miscellaneous parts for the test setup.• Developed MATLAB code to calculate the shedding frequency, oscillating frequency, average vertical displacement, and average downstream velocity.• Wrote documentation for setting up and performing tests.• Presented research poster at CU Denver's annual research symposium, RaCAS.
