I am a trial lawyer representing clients in complex commercial litigation and energy industry disputes. In addition to commercial litigation across all phases of the energy industry, I regularly handle construction and infrastructure matters, trade secret and non-compete claims, insurance recovery actions, and other high-stakes business disputes. I have had the pleasure of representing a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to government entities and small business owners. Understanding that each client's situation is unique, many of my engagements have involved alternative fee arrangements, including contingency fee agreements and blended-fee structures that share the risk of litigation with my clients.Over the years, I have prosecuted and defended against a variety of contract and business tort claims involving hundreds of millions of dollars in damages. Among other matters, I recently assisted a municipality in recovering $90 million in a lawsuit against a multi-national company arising from the defective design and installation of an automated water meter system under an energy performance contract. I also helped an energy company secure the dismissal of fraud and breach of contract claims seeking up to $20 million for allegedly failing to supply sufficient volumes of oil to a crude-by-rail facility. In another case, I represented an international oilfield services company in securing the dismissal of claims seeking more than $50 million in damages related to an oil and gas development project in Mexico. Without exception, all of these cases have relied on close collaboration and working relationships with my clients.
