Profile bio

About Brian Stout

I am a systems convener, working to connect people, organizations, institutions, and movements across boundaries and lines of difference. I am a curator and network weaver for the emergent collaborative Building Belonging, laying the groundwork for a world where everyone belongs. We do this by convening the system (creating a container to bring together those longing for a better world, united across difference), together imagining the future we long for, practicing together (a "future dojo"), and then collaborating to choose key leverage points to transform systems.I work with funders to critically examine the role of philanthropy in an era of multiple deep crises, and to support social movements working toward transformative solutions. Visit us at: https://www.buildingbelonging.us/If you're interested, you can read my newsletter here: https://citizenstout.substack.com/I always welcome connections with kindred spirits; I ask that you please explain in your request (I don't respond to invites without context).

Listed skills include International Development, Human Rights, Policy Analysis, Policy, and 18 others.
