Serving in law enforcement is certainly a calling and challenges the best of us. I was drawn back into service and put on a new uniform; this time for my local community. I've had the honor to lead and serve in rewarding ways.- Patrol officer. This work is deceivingly complex, testing all of one's skill. - Executive Protection Unit agent. Implementing security solutions for the City's most high-profile visitors, from the President of the United States to anyone below. - Lake Patrol Unit. Driving boats and jet skis to patrol three major waterways in the city.- Detective. I served as an investigator for the Robbery Unit, prosecuting dozens of felony cases.- Patrol supervisor. Lead a 12-man team of senior officers providing guidance, development, motivation, mentoring, empowerment, training, and assistance as needed in day-to-day operations.- Adjunct firearms and tactical instructor.

The Brotherhood Brand was an entrepreneurial retail venture whose purpose was to serve as a source of encouragement, camaraderie, and esprit de corps by promoting members of the military and law enforcement in order to contribute to select charities.I built the venture from the ground up; established an LLC with the State, designed the website, hired an artist for merchandise and logo creation, and managed the online store for fulfilling orders and shipping. Profits were donated to Concerns of Police Survivors, The Mighty Oaks Foundation, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Following my time in the Navy, and graduating from Texas A&M, I put my skills to work in project management for the commercial construction industry. ThyssenKrupp Elevator is a world-leading mobility company with state-of-the-art engineering for very large commercial building projects. Products include elevators, escalators, moving walks, and jet-ways.I collaborated with general contractor project managers and architects to realize best solutions for their project. I also trained architects on how to properly incorporate space, plumbing, and power for the mobility hardware in their designs. The teamwork in assisting general contractors manage their project, from the time of my sale to construction completion, was a rewarding experience.

What a phenomenal experience this was! I was able to work alongside some of the finest men and leaders in the world. I had a calling to enter Navy Special Warfare as an ROTC student at Texas A&M University. My sense of duty to country paired with the challenge and adventure of the SEAL Teams compelled me to put college on hold and enlist. After being in a graduating class of 13 original members from a 105-man class I was assigned to SEAL Team THREE. I served as an Intelligence Specialist with a Top Secret clearance, an Arabic linguist, and lead driver for my 18-man platoon. I had a deployment to Jordan to train their Special Forces in addition to two combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. Our operations resulted in 100% objective success.
