After a life-time of growing companies while wearing many hats, I am now in a position to create similar solutions for your business’s next stage of growth. My unusual skill-set, developed through experience in many different industries and study in several different educational disciplines, is a formula for creative solutions to your company’s most pressing needs. Personally, I abhor the word “consultant”. It elicits thoughts of over-priced and under produced with little or no value added. My approach is much more pragmatic. No expensive teams to fill your conference room. Not a lot of talk full of buzz words with little understanding of your business. I am able to quickly gain a thorough understanding of your needs, assess the resources you have available on-hand, develop the tool or process needed to improve your system, turn it over to your personnel with training, and get out. My objective is to serve you by providing new process improvements, driving out costs, and creating efficiencies as your business changes and grows.   ACCOUNTING• AR transactions had increased exponentially. A method was needed to handle up to 10’s of 1,000’s of invoices on any one remittance. Wrote a program using customer’s remittance data, data from the ERP system, and Excel to automate the process. Automated order entry for thousands of daily orders.• Wrote EDI translations to integrate with the ERP system.• Wrote a program to handle non-EDI customers - data from customer portals was imported to the ERP system automatically populating it with new ordersWAREHOUSING• Designed a process and wrote a program to create efficiencies in the warehouse. Mistakes such as pulling wrong SKU’s were eliminated.• The program integrated with the ERP system, FedEx and UPS machines. Eliminated manual entry into those systems and manual closing of orders in the ERP systemPURCHASING• Wrote a program to manage and report on the status of 500 in process shipping containers.• The tool put all of the data in one place accessible to all EE’s with real time data and reporting.PE CO• Created program to manage a large portfolio within a complex structure of entities, holdings, and ownership.• Integrated what was a disparate, unwieldy assortment of spreadsheets and databases into a cohesive system to manage the business.COST ACCT• Created a system for a pharmaceutical manufacturer to log lab, QA, and manufacturing time by job. Enabled a better understanding of costs, improved management of WIP and COGs.PROJECT MANAGEMENT• Worked with PM’s to create a system whereby each department was held accountable to achieve milestones within a prescribed time.• The database helped improve the average turn-around time for deliverables from 3 months to 1 month.
