I led initiatives for Virtualization and Consolidation using VMware ESX 3.0, SQL 2005 Enterprise in a 64-bit clustered environment Storage optimization utilizing SAN technologies (EMC CX3-40), Backup Exec upgrade to 11d. I was project lead for site wide implementations such as NT 4.0 to Active Directory 2003, MS Exchange 5.5 to 2003, SMS 2.0 to 2003, Commerce Server 2002, RIM Blackberry 3.5 to 4.1, IIS 5.0 and IIS 6.0. My primary responsibilities included but were not limited to: Implementing, and supporting systems and services using this wide range of technologies. Using SNMP tools such as HP Systems SIM I executed constant performance and health monitoring for high availability and performance. I’m continuously evaluating, recommending, and procuring hardware and software technologies for service additions and enhancements. Also, provided tier 3 client workstation support, cable management and physical infrastructure support such as Backups, UPS, and cooling.

Major projects: Implemented SSL enabled web sites for online orders, SiteScope and Insight Manager health and availability monitoring, and SMS 2.0. Successfully completed a full conversion of our ISP from an ISDN to a fractional T1 to a new provider in 1.5 months. Implemented McAffee Total Virus Defense in one work week. Rebuilt Exchange 5.5 with 60-mail box (7GB) Information Store overnight. Implemented SMS 2.0 for Inventory management purposes also in one work week. Primarily responsibilities: Managing Exchange 5.5, SMS 2.0, DNS, WINS, DHCP, RRAS, McAffee TVD, all hardware, SQL 6.5 and 7.0, Backups with ArcServe. Backoffice and OS related problems, tasks, and projects in the information technology department.Other responsibilities and experience: Maintained and configured the CISCO 2900 switches, 1720 T1 Router, and infrastructure cabling. Supported client applications such as Research Insight 7.6, and CA FaxServ.

• The environment was primarily Microsoft NT 4.0 and 2000 with some Windows 95. I was co-responsible for 40+ servers, in a Windows NT 4.0/2000 server farm, supporting IIS, SQL 6.5, and Ecommerce sites.• Major Projects: Participated in 400+ user mailbox migration/consolidation from a resource domain model to single master domain model as well as migrated email from one organization to another with multiple sites and servers. Accepted ownership for ecommerce web and database servers from an outsourced hosting company and implemented into the corporate network.• Primary responsibilities: Supported services such as: DHCP, WINS, DNS, SQL 6.5, and IIS 4.0, and production web sites with assistance from developers for B to B E-Commerce solutions.

• Primary responsibilities: Windows Network Administration, Proliant Server implementation and configuration, I implemented and supported enterprise software solutions, such as: SQL Server 7.0, Exchange Server 5.5, Systems Management Server 2.0, Internet Information Server 4.0 and Windows Terminal Server. Developed push and rapid deployment methods for reliable client systems configuration and integrity. Tier 2 workstation support focused on Microsoft operating systems and application suites.• Other responsibilities and experience: Performance and Health monitoring using SNMP tools such as Compaq Insight Manager. Evaluating and acquiring hardware and software technologies for service additions and enhancements. Used and supported Symantec management software, such as AntiVirus, and Ghost. Maintained backups using Veritas Backup Exec.
