Directed the creation and development of Neighborhood Housing Services of America’s (NHSA) ecommerce & web-based loan resolutions platforms: • Managed the development of a web-based Automated Underwriting System (AUS) supporting $775 million of complex mortgage lending from borrower to investor; technology supports up to 7 layers of financing and 5 borrowers in a single online transaction thereby enhancing affordability and risk profile management. • Created the mortgage market’s first automated alternative credit and “thin credit file” 1st mortgage loan program; developed programs, technology, investors (including GSE liquidity) for 1st mortgages.• Created the loan resolution platform used by the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling (NFMC) initiative; platform is 100% US Treasury compatible with HAMP, HARP, HAPA and is PCI compliant; dramatically increased portfolio valuation analytics and reduced resolution turnaround times for 15,000+ loans.• Managed the pricing of NHSA’s $400 million+ complex (non-prime) CRA qualifying mortgage assets and liabilities while working directly with sellers and investors at the contract level. Negotiated and priced a broad range of investor contracts. Converted subsidized lending business model to a risk adjusted net revenue business model. • The uniqueness of these financial solutions became the subject of a 30 minute PBS news documentary.

As a member of the Management Committee, developed and managed critical operations for Home Savings of America ($50+ billion company) including:• Managed Secondary Marketing for the nation’s largest mortgage lender.• Created and managed Treasury risk management and transfer pricing processes for all assets and liabilities company bought, sold and traded.• In collaboration with 10 banks, Microsoft and Quicken, created the first online banking exchange (contributed to the project in matters ranging from security to transaction costing) and supervised Home Savings web-based online banking department at the launch of this new form of commerce. • Managed Direct Marketing and the transaction-based Customer Relationship Management System used for 3.5 million households. Worked on mergers and acquisitions providing customer valuation, account transfers and branch consolidations.• Active member of the Asset and Liability Committee responsible for income and risk valuation at the transaction level, developed processes and systems which were used in these calculations.
