Currently, he is a Senior at NYU, majoring in Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism Management with a focus on Marketing and Analytics. He is eager to pursue a career in marketing and branding within the F&B industry.His dedication to cooking was shaped during his time at Korea Culinary Arts Science High School, where he honed his foundational cooking skills. Competing in global cooking competitions with the World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS) allowed him to expand his culinary knowledge. In 2016, he was selected to lead South Korea’s national junior culinary team, where he developed strong leadership and communication skills.After high school, Brian attended the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), further refining his culinary expertise. He gained hands-on experience through stages at renowned restaurants like Eleven Madison Park, NoMad, and Aquavit NYC. His commitment to growth led him to a kitchen externship at The Modern, a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant, where he returned post-graduation to continue his culinary career.Brian also completed his military service as a KATUSA (Korean Augmentation to the United States Army) at Camp Humphreys in South Korea, where he supported training and administration. This experience helped him develop valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, and adaptability.Now pursuing a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management at NYU, Brian is expanding his expertise from the culinary world to the broader hospitality industry.
