Current research associate at Stealth Mode Biotech. Former laboratory technician and onboarding trainer who helped save lives with novel liquid biopsy, early-stage cancer detection through: exosome isolation, preparing ELISA biomarker plates, operating Multiplex Immunoassay Luminex Analyzer technology, and further supporting LDT assays with Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100 SDS-PAGE and High Sensitivity DNA, Nanotracking Particle Analysis, and Qubit techniques.At Cornell, I utilized immunohistochemistry for an in vitro assay tracking the location, signal, and mobility of heart-valve proteins in various developmental stages of mouse embryonic development. At UC Davis, I honed in on my experimental design skills by running feeding trials with an invasive sea crustacean species depleting California's eelgrass population (co-authorship).Overall, I have deep gratitude for my profound mentors: Duc Pham, Johnathan Butcher, Katie DuBois, the late Nick Anast, Galen George, Shawn Brumbaugh, and Santa Rosa Junior College itself for providing me with these opportunities as a former junior college student. Thereafter, I attended and graduated from UC San Diego in 2022, gaining a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and entering the Biotechnology sector.Lastly, I have a strong passion for tutoring, mentorship, public speaking, and utilizing science and education to help people. My drive to guide students into success in STEM coursework and lead healthy, fulfilling lives is exemplary in my roles: private STEM tutor, alumni panelist, UCSD John Muir Transfer Orientation Leader, teaching fellow, student-peer counselor, mental health speaker, and volunteer UCSD mentor.I’m honored to pay it forward through innovative scientific discoveries and supporting others along the way.
