Daily activities vary but can include designing research protocols, building virtual environments, statistical analysis, hosting workshops, managing lab space, and directing ongoing projects at different phases.

Applied human factors and human-computer interaction principles to better understand users of safety-critical software and hardware. Responsible for designing and running usability tests, directing heuristic analysis, planning contextual inquiries, structuring questionnaires, applying ISO and ANSI standards, performing ergonomic evaluations, and reporting findings to stakeholders.

-I oversaw and organized a group of over 250 volunteers in the completion of countless community outreach and activism projects throughout the United States. On top of overseeing the group, I also conducted and presented research based on several of our projects throughout the United States. I Furthermore, I acted as webmaster for the Non-Profit's Website www.bethechangenj.org, helped write several grant proposals, and ran social justice workshops.

-As a graduate assistant, I was responsible for administrative work related to the smooth operation of the classroom and office space. For example, I would prepare and administer waiver and permission forms related to off-campus travel as well as deliver and file them. I also booked the use of equipment and space for student activities. Beyond administrative work, I have also stood in as a lecturer for several classes.

Psychology Department

-Acted as a research assistant under Dr. Jacqueline Massa in the psychology department at Kean University. Responsibilities included data gathering, data analysis, research design, computer programming, survey writing, report writing equipment managment, and equipment training. Specifically, besides managing and training students and professor in how to use an EEG and GSR, I also designed tasks within a program called SuperLab (i.e. CPT task). I helped a group of about 6 students complete their research and presented my own at the New England Psychological Association Conference in 2011.
