Engineering manager and former network engineer. I have managed teams of network, VoIP and Wifi/RF engineers. My teams were responsible for 15,000 APs, over 100,000 phones and worked with 7,000+ routers and switches. My teams were responsible for designing, activating and installing WLANs, LANs, WANs, VoIP networks and Internet access for schools and libraries across the US. As a manager I work diligently to guide, grow and encourage my engineers to provide the best service for customers and to be excellent teammates. I have a great deal of pre-sales experience assisting account managers by talking with customers and helping them understand the product offerings in detail. I have assisted with formatting replies to large customer bids. While I was an engineer I designed large WAN networks, Internet access circuits, firewall installations, assisting customers design their LANs, pre-sales activities and completing upgrades to large data center routers and switches.
