- Drafted guidelines and defined description language syntax used to dynamically describe devices and architectures used for all current Cisco projects (including the flagship Silicon One-based product line of switches).- Automated the generation of files necessary to the programming of device settings for Cisco boards, utilizing Python and MySQL database architecture, greatly streamlining the development and testing process.- Implemented Python tools to generate end-to-end connection reports for switches and routers, utilizing existing hardware schematics and pin mappings, saving thousands of work hours by eliminating the need to repeat the process manually to accommodate any physical connection revisions.- Led the development and implementation of Python tools to apply machine vision to process test device data images, leveraging the OpenCV library.- Implemented web application using Python and Flask for monitoring, reserving, logging, and power cycling test units in the lab to allow for process queuing or image upgrading without overlap from multiple concurrent users.- Helped redesign and re-implement regression testing functionality formerly written in tcl in updated Python 3.7 standard with the goal of more optimized cycles and easier future feature implementation.
