Brian is an accomplished executive design leader with over 20 years of expertise in design, consumer brand experiences, eCommerce, VR, Voice, AI, architecture, and user experience design for award-winning digital product design and services. He is currently Vice President of UX Design at Expedia. Before joining Expedia, Brian most recently served as Senior Vice President of Product Design at Greenlight Financial Technology, an Atlanta startup focused on educating families and kids about money management, family safety and providing investing and debit cards for kids.Prior to Greenlight, Brian served as Vice President of User Experience Design at eBay overseeing Buyer, Seller, and Payment products and services globally. Additionally, Brian led the design of Amazon's Alexa devices and voice services including Echo, Echo Show and Echo Spot. He and his teams drove design innovation and delivery of Fire and Kindle products for Fire Tablets, Kindle Readers, Fire TV, Fire TV Cube, Cloud Cam, Prime Mobile devices, and other strategic design initiatives that helped shape the product roadmap at Amazon. Prior to Amazon, Brian was Sr. Design Director for XBOX where he led envisioning and delivery of UX, Gesture and Voice-led end-to-end consumer experiences across game Kinect & XBOX One consoles, tablets and web. Brian has led talented global design teams delivering a wide range of innovative products for mobile, desktop and home devices. His teams are made up of highly creative individuals including voice UI and sound design, interaction & visual design, 3D environments, animation and motion design, UX research, design technologist, product design and product integrators. Brian's teams are makers and design thinkers, working closely in collaboration with engineering and business partners to deliver integrated hardware, software and services solutions for customers.
