I have been involved in financial services since 2010 and founded Tavistock Investments Plc along with Oliver Cooke, the Chairman, in 2013. I joined the business as Group Chief Executive when we completed our first acquisitions recently. I bring a wide range of commercial experience to my role, having built businesses and run public companies on both AIM and the Official List. In 1990, I founded Card Clear PLC, a company engaged in combating the fraudulent use of plastic payment cards. I then took Card Clear to AIM in 1995. Since leaving Card Clear in 1998, along with a colleague, I acquired a controlling interest in a fully listed but failing company (Versalite PLC) for which we raised funding, before transforming it into a successful software and services group. Having retired from that business in 2004, I concentrated on building up a residential property portfolio prior to joining Blacksquare (now Tavistock Wealth) in 2010.Specialties: A serial entrepreneur, I love a commercial challenge. I like to think of myself as astute, creative and driven, and hope that I am now long enough in the tooth to get the best out of myself and others.
