At GoGuardian I lead the GoGuardian Admin product, a web filter and management tool for K-12 schools that helps IT teams and educators keep students safe online. It combines web filtering, device management, and student safety reporting into a single interface that works across any device, browser, or operating system.

At Edmentum I oversaw the Virtual and Blended Learning portfolio, representing all digital curriculum Products in the company. These products range from Credit Recovery curriculum to ELL games and Augmented Reality experiences. In my role I lead strategic planning for my portfolio, including Digital Curriculum, LMS & SIS Platforms, and Virtual Academy Services. As part of that process I also lead financial and business planning and analysis for corporate initiatives and partnerships.

At Pearson, I led the development of an industry leading educational platform that helped K-12 students access basal curriculum and ebooks in an accessible and engaging fashion. I also assisted in strategic planning and roadmap analysis for Pearson's portfolio of digital curriculum products and associated platforms. As part of that work I also oversaw improvements to content development technologies and processes. Lastly, I onboarded, trained, and mentored new product managers.

ANSWR was a social knowledge startup focused on how deep knowledge is created, discovered, and shared on the Internet.Working at an early stage startup like ANSWR allowed me to wear multiple hats ranging from Product Management to Customer Success and Marketing. As the Product Manager of ANSWR, I was responsible for delivering continuous value to our customers by regularly shipping new features and functions. I performed market analysis, segmentation, and developed product strategies to target discrete user groups. On a daily basis I led the "state of the company" meeting and delivered KPI and Scorecard analysis. I maintained market awareness of our competitors and led competitive analysis of them for our sales team.On a technical front, I was able to utilize my background to write ad-hoc reporting for executive needs and to create visualizations in platforms like Tableau and SSRS. I also developed custom visualizations using using tools like D3.js and Chartkick to display data from SQL Server databases.

At McGraw-Hill Education, I served as the Technical Product Manager for two teams: a large 40 person legacy international team that developed a platform used by six product lines and a smaller 12 person on-shore team that was developing a next generation application for use in summative assessments.During my time at McGraw Hill, I introduced Agile methodologies to both of my teams and helped them the transfer to new sprint and requirements documentation software. I developed stories, epics, planned sprints, and led scrum for two applications. I also served as the Product Owner for those teams and worked with Business Product Managers to prioritize requests/features across multiple product lines.In partnership with multiple Business Product Managers, I managed the development lifecycle for a large enterprise application that grossed over $100 million annually. I also helped to develop product vision for two product lines to meet customer and market needs. In coordination with the sales teams, I contributed to MRDs, PRDs, and other sales-related documents to ensure technical veracity and to prioritize features. I also served as the technical lead in presentations and communications with key clients and acted as the technical point of contact when escalations were needed.

I was the product manager for one of Radialpoint’s flagship applications: a SaaS CRM that targeted technical support callcenters. I also served as the Product Manager of a multi-tiered thick client windows application that packaged, delivered, and executed 3rd party tools.In this role I performed business, customer, and market analysis to develop new features and improvements. I also defined and planned product requirements in coordination with Product Marketing, Account Managers, business representatives, and market trends. Additionally, I developed and communicated product roadmap, vision, and implementation to stakeholders and customers.
