Developed Rich Internet Applications (RIA) to provide an interactive user experience with a web application similar to that of a desktop application. The web clients are built using ExtJS (4.0 MVC) to provide a robust user experience including dynamic pages, grids, trees, lists and charts. The dynamic nature of the application is produced using AJAX calls to Java services utilizing JSON as the method of serialization. MyBatis is used on the service side to handle the object relational mapping (ORM) between the java objects and the database (MySQL /Oracle). All of the applications utilize the Spring MVC running on Tomcat to pull it all together.All development is managed using the Agile Software Development Lifecycle Methodology. Participating in sprint planning and daily scrums.Interacted with customers to define requirements, discuss LOE, review design concepts, plan deliverables and perform demonstrations.

Developed an application that leverages the capabilities of IBM’s Initiate product. Initiate is used to disambiguate data from different sources to aid in correlation of the data. The application I created uses the Initiate API to create a custom tool to abstract the complexities of the Initiate algorithm to provide a simplified user experience. The application utilizes Java technologies.

Worked with a team of Adobe Technical Architects and Consultants to customize Adobe Connect (Collaborative Workspace Tool) with a custom Flex based user interface for DISA. The project used the Agile Development paradigm. Responsibilities included the generation of user stories, running meetings, development of software using Flex and ActionScript, implementation of unit tests using JUnit and FlexUnit, prototyping of new integration technologies and providing technical guidance.
