I was directly involved in the design and building of Superior Bar & Grill on Highland Road in Baton Rouge. I currently serve as the General Manager for this 10,000 square feet full service restaurant.

Weekly Responsibilities include:-Perform Cost Flow Analysis.-Assist Managing partner with budgeting, forecasting and proposals for capital improvements.-Implement strategies which decrease payroll expenditures. -Maintain alcohol inventory levels with improved controls. (Have achieved savings of 4% from 2009-2012, an amount which equals up to $100k per year.)-Schedule three levels of restaurant staff: managerial, bar, and host. (Responsible for 50 direct reports)-Strategizing means of increasing revenues and capacities during off-and on-site events. (Have achieved sales and production increases for all events each year since 2009.)Organization and administration of off-site events:-French Quarter Festival (April)-Zurich classic of New Orleans (May)-Sugar Plum Ball (May)-White Linen Night (August)-New Orleans Bike Fest (October)-Numerous charity golf tournaments throught Southeast Lousiana.Coordination of all major onsite events:-Captialize on St. Charles Mardi Gras sidewalk bar and parade observations deck.*Obtain permits required from local Carnival Krewes and city health departments.*Search and secure contract build and insure observation deck for duration of Mardi Gras.*Schedule and supervise construction of temporary bar stations.*Provide appropriate staff capable of meeting increased demand from parade attendeesProject Manager for three annual high-volume-sales block parties:-St. Paddy's Day-Cinco De Mayo-Thanksgiving EveCordinate all Necessary components of block parties:-Obtain required permits.-Contract a popular local band to perform.-Secure financing with alcohol venders.-Hire 20+ off-duty police officers to provide security for customer safety.-Partner with local charity to generate fundraising opportunities.-Arrange advertising on radio and in local newspaper.-Improve means of increasing sales revenues during events.
