The second projectcomprised the top five floors of an exclusive fifty-story residential tower ininner South West London, which has been completely rebuilt as oneresidence.The high-end specification, nature of the client and ever-changing demandsplaced upon all contractors on each site was both a challenge and furthereducation for me in project management and consultancy.Internally as project manager I instigated progress and change withinthe company, whilst also enabling them to maintain and improve profitmargins.I acted as consultant to the diverse and unconventional requests fromdesigners and architects and provided innovative ideas and solutions, as wellas managing routine site problems & situations.I also implemented standardisation of company schematics, cable schedulesand installation practices; acted as onsite consultant managing client expectations and demands byliaising with designers and architects and client representatives.Proactively recovered variation income to increase total combinedproject value.Revised and instigated new Service Level Agreements specifically tailoredto the requirements of these projects.
