Manage the Immunization Clinic and Program within the Community Health Services Bureau.Lead quality assurance activities to improve outcomes of immunization services and monitor achievement of Arlington County Department of Human Services Performance Measures. Oversaw the integration of COVID vaccines from Emergency Preparedness and Response (EP&R) vaccine pods to standard vaccine clinics within the Bureau. With the commercialization of COVID vaccines, directed administrative and service delivery changes as part of the CDC COVID-19 Bridge Access Program and Virginia Vaccines for Adults Program.

Operations Branch leader within the Incident Command System (ICS) of the Arlington County COVIDResponse who led teams of case investigators, contact tracers, epidemiologists, and long-term care surveyors. Developed new processes and systems for focusing investigations on higher-risk residents, groups, and outbreaks after Virginia Department of Health ended 100% contact investigation and contact tracing in January 2022. Developed and implemented a plan to gradually scale down Response operations with the normalization of COVID in public heath operations.

Member of the infection control team to prevent and mitigate healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Responded to the COVID pandemic by educating hospital community on personal protective equipment (PPE), including Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPRs). Partnered with local and state health departments to develop systems and processes in the reporting of COVID cases and morbidity, including Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C).

Member of the Community Health Protection Bureau, focused on Tuberculosis (TB) services andcommunicable diseases. Case managed clients to achieve successful completion of treatment to reduce disease spread in community. Directed multiple TB contact investigations, including an investigation at a school in which over 200 people were screened. Employed principles of risk communication during investigations and in partnerships with senior leaders at worksites in private and public settings. Responded to multiple outbreak investigations and public health emergencies, including Ebola traveler monitoring and Zika virus, to provide risk communication to private providers and the public.
