I am a first year Liberal Arts student at the Community College of Philadelphia with a passion for high-quality, accessible arts education and youth empowerment through creative expression, storytelling, and collaboration. During my pre-college gap year, I worked and volunteered as a freelance Teaching Artist for various spaces such as Arden Theatre Company, ASAP, and Yes! And… Collaborative Arts where I’m still currently teaching. I presently support the wide-spread educational and operational efforts at Philadelphia Young Playwrights as an intern utilizing my organizational and community outreach skills. I am also a member of the Philadelphia Youth Commission's Education Subcommittee, composed of youth ages 12-24 who are responsible for discussing, generating ideas, reviewing legislation, and making recommendations regarding education in the City of Philadelphia.I have a particular interest in accessibility in relation to arts education, youth empowerment through creative opportunities, and arts administration.
