I believe life is full of beauty. From the stars in the night sky, to the birds you can find in your backyard, this world is full of beautiful things to appreciate. As a game designer, I find beauty in storytelling and connection. The power of a story is one that can bring to light new perspectives and experiences capable of touching the hearts of players. It is my hope that the games I create will help players foster friendships, gain compassion, and become inspired to create their own works of art. Above all, I want my stories to help the world become a better, kinder, more beautiful place.I graduated from DigiPen Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Game Design and minor in English. I specialized in level and narrative design, weaving together both specialties to create worlds full of emotion and charm. Shortly after graduation, I was lucky enough to land a job as a debug tester for Nintendo of America, thus fulfilling a childhood dream of mine. During my two years at Nintendo, I worked on a few titles -- the biggest being The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can find my name in the credits! With my detail-driven workflow, it was a great role for me. But it wasn't where I wanted to be.I have since moved on from testing, and my focus has shifted back to the pursuit of game design and creative writing. Now I am constantly looking to expand my repertoire of skills in hopes that I can one day achieve my lifelong goal of designing and writing meaningful game experiences. In my off-time, you can usually find me riding my longboard around town, making progress in my taekwondo training, writing for my latest worldbuilding project, or preparing for my next Dungeons and Dragons session. If you think my skills in environment design, creative and technical writing, copy editing, game feel, or debugging would be a good fit for your team, then I'd love to connect and talk more! Thanks for reading, and safe travels!
