I made a career change in the summer of 2021 from the service industry to IT, and I have learned a lot in the last year-and-a -half. I am currently in a tier-1 role, but I am trying to learn as much as possible and move forward in my career. I currently work on a team of four, and we provide support to a company of around 400 employees. My day-to-day work is primarily focused on managing user accounts in AD, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining our inventory of computers and other equipment. I will be graduating from the network admin program at North Seattle College with an AAS this summer, and in my spare time I am working on getting an Network+ and A+ certification. My main priority right now is gaining experience and solid fundamental skills.Though I have learned a lot, I have a long way to go. I am hardworking and dedicated, and I am excited to see where the future takes me.
