I am a highly-motivated Petroleum Geologist with several years' experience in the oil & gas industry. I take on almost any challenge that is put forward to me, which is evident by the range of highly-variable roles I have held within my field. I view my career as a geologist as one that is always growing and evolving, and as a result am continuously looking for new opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge base. Through my career I have gained experience in unconventional resources (deep coal & shale gas), operations and wellsite geology, sedimentology, petrology, and conventional development roles. With these roles came a variety of skills and experiences that have shaped me as a well rounded professional. I have a particular passion for operational activities, as well as field appraisal and development planning. My personality traits lend me to being highly strong-willed and dutiful, honest and direct, calm and practical, and very responsible. I thrive on fast-paced, highly collaborative and challenging projects. My experiences and interests beyond my job exemplify this. I am a keen long distance runner, student mentor, PESA committee member, and early morning cooking enthusiast.
