As a Microbiology Assistant & Lab Secretary at Save The Water™, I play an integral role in bridging environmental research with public health. My work focuses on analyzing water samples for harmful microorganisms and pollutants that directly impact community health. By identifying contaminants and contributing to the development of water treatment solutions, I help address critical public health concerns related to waterborne diseases and contamination. Additionally, I manage essential lab documentation and communication, ensuring the smooth operation of research that aims to protect public health and promote safe, clean water for all. Served as a liaison facilitating on-site telemedicine consultations and follow-up visits using virtual technology for the primary hematology/oncology team from December 2022 to October 2023, and currently from August 2024.

As a Peer Leader at Nova Southeastern University, I play a key role in supporting first-year students as they transition to college life. My responsibilities included planning and leading a variety of activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises. I provided guidance and support to campers, helping them develop new skills, build confidence, and form lasting friendships. Additionally, I ensured the safety and well-being of all participants by enforcing camp rules and maintaining a positive atmosphere. This role allowed me to hone my leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities while making a positive impact on the campers' overall experience.

This role required excellent time management and organizational skills, allowing me to balance front desk responsibilities with clinical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
