Fletcher Fellow for North Carolina Public Radio-WUNC.In this role, I pitch, write and produce audio stories on various aspects of higher education. I cover universities across the state, including private schools, community colleges, HBCUs and the UNC System. My reporting takes national topics — from anti-DEI legislation, colleges cutting majors, to the artificial intelligence boom — and puts them in a local perspective. This coverage spans from quick, timely spots to in-depth, sound-rich features. I also have experience writing newscast copy, operating a soundboard and producing local segments of Morning Edition.
