Whitney Baker is a multifaceted professional with a rich background in theater, improv, event volunteering, and music/culture journalism. Currently serving as the Digital Platforms Manager at WUNC, central North Carolina’s NPR member station, she excels in managing diverse digital products and collaborating across departments. She's also a current student in the online Masters in Digital Communication at UNC's Hussman School of Journalism. Whitney's past roles include Webmaster and Production Manager at Duke University’s Center for Documentary Studies and Community Coordinator at the Music Maker Relief Foundation in Hillsborough. An enthusiastic reader and gamer with a growing vinyl collection, Whitney holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism and Spanish from UNC-Chapel Hill, class of 2011.
