My name is Brianna Jordan and I am a second-year UC Berkeley student completing a simultaneous major in Economics and Statistics with an emphasis in Human Behavior and Psychology. I'm passionate about...𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: I started tutoring K-5th grade at 12 through a local business called Downtown Academics. After working there until 17, I mentored other tutors and worked with over 50 unique clients, each with varying academic strengths and weaknesses. It prompted me to create my own business Inspire Brilliance, which allowed me to focus on private tutoring and work at my own pace.𝑨 𝑮𝒍𝒐𝒃𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆: During my first semester of university, I studied abroad through UC Berkeley's Global Edge program. It was an incredible experience that made me learn how to live independently. When I returned in the Spring, I became a Global Edge Ambassador, allowing me to speak about my study abroad experiences and promote the program to other incoming freshmen. My most recent experience was speaking at a panel on Cal Day (2024) in front of over 100 prospective students.𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒖𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔: Since I'm studying both Economics and Data Science, I aim to join extracurriculars and jobs that highlight them. I am in Berkeley Women in Business as a general member and the Undergraduate Economics Association in the Professional Affairs Committee. Additionally, this summer, I am working as a Co-Instructor to teach data science to high schoolers. I am honored to take the role and make coding exciting!𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆: While I have a STEM focus, I enjoy art and have created a variety of commissions over the last year. I have predominately worked on deceased pet portraits that function as memorials. I hope this can help clients work through the grieving process.
