On this team, I facilitated a day of orientation and welcomed new cast members at Walt Disney World Resort emphasizing company traditions, legacy and Disney magic. As the external communications professional intern, I was responsible for tracking media stories for content, volume, and trends to archive stories and assess their impact on the company’s reputation, wrote stories for Walt Disney World Resort corporate information website for journalists, monitored media and online conversation about Walt Disney World.

As a Campus Representative, I helped lead the marketing efforts for the Disney College Program on the Texas Tech University campus. I partnered with the College Recruiting Team to increase awareness of the Disney College Program.

On my second Disney College Program, I sold tangible memories and created magical moments specific to Main Street East merchandise locations within the Magic Kingdom Park. I was specialty trained in skills such as stitching on mouse-ear hats, watch sizing, and confectionary training.

I was a Social Media Intern in New Media for the Office of Communications and Marketing. My responsibilities included creating content for and managing TTU social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare.

On my Disney College Program, I sold tangible memories and created magical moments for guests. While on my program I was specialty trained in the runner position for resorts and received several Great Service Fanatic awards.
