Sports Broadcast provides broadcast engineering services to local professional sports teams as well as national networks. In my role I provide technical consultation and setup of sports related broadcasts on radio and television. Current clients include ESPN, NFL, Disney, Fox Sports Arizona, Phoenix Suns, San Francisco Giants, and many more.

CRC Broadcasting owns broadcast facilities in Arizona and California which specialize in business talk and sports talk radio. They also operate Financial Fest, which hosts a heavily attended investment expo for multiple markets across the country. My role was direct management of day-to-day programming, staff, and transmission facilities for all AM and FM radio stations. This includes over 50 on-air hosts, 25 full and part-time staff, and multiple contractors. My specific areas of oversight included;• Consulting directly with my business partner and company President on corporate strategy, planning, and implementation of agreed upon directives.• I directed and managed Financial Fest for most of my tenure here. I was responsible for the execution of the event from communication with exhibitors and attendees, to logistical details with venues, vendors, and audio/visual setup.• I advised, created, and operated on small budgets for programming, promotional, news, and sales departments• Negotiated acquisition and sale of multiple radio stations, facilities, and assets• Maintained federal compliance for FCC licensure, including strict EEO hiring practices and guidelines• Negotiated contracts with major radio networks including Westwood One, Clear Channel, and sports organizations including the NFL, Oakland Raiders, LA Clippers, and many more• Complete project management; I have established budgets for, and planned, and implemented multi-station facility moves that requiring continuous uninterrupted operation.

I worked a regular weekend on-air shift on this top 40 station. Provided artist bio information during the shift and featured promotional contests and bits during my shift. Encouraged requests and participated as needed at remote events.

I worked a regular weekend on-air shift 2 days per week on a country formatted station. As a full-service station in a small market, I provided news updates, traffic reports and weather conditions. I also encouraged audience requests and manage promotional contests.

I led a dispatch team whose duties were overseeing, counseling, and scheduling over 350 officers. I was responsible for creating and managing overtime and labor productivity to maximize cost effectiveness and ease of scheduling. I conducted interviews for new personnel and was the direct liaison to account reps on behalf of clients. I implemented scheduling strategies and policies that resulted in a 27% reduction in overtime expenses in the first year.

I managed a large, fast-paced insurance agency in the Los Angeles County area. I was responsible for approximately 19% of active sales within a 4 person office, selling and servicing personal lines policies with a focus on auto, fire, and disability insurance.

Initially responsible for maintaining and upgrading weapons stock within our unit. Duties expanded to safety instruction for students, maintaining computer system used to report combat readiness status; participated in several specialized courses of instruction throughout term of active service. I received an honorable discharge.
