Supporting the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, Systems Engineering and Architecture

Managing the internal operations of a nonprofit organization that focuses on grassroots community activism and social mobility. Duties include administrative matters, budgeting, programming, and hiring.

Supported the Federal Transit Administration’s Office of Program Oversight through the development of a Program Policy Guide to help clarify guidance on the purpose and use of federal oversight tools and processes for grant management.

Served on the staff of the Deputy Commandant for Information, a senior executive in the Department of Defense, assisting in policy creation, human resources, inter-organizational collaboration, and strategic planning for operations in the Information Environment.

Served as the second-in-charge for a department that consisted of over 75 individuals of varying backgrounds and experiences, and managed two warehouses that contained over 19,000 items valuing over $275 million dollars. I also served as an operational planner, working with counterparts from different partner nations. During this time, I also participated in military operations in the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, and Thailand, and managed a supply chain that spanned across the entire Pacific region. I also managed the logistical integration of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the military's most advanced jet, in its first overseas location. This consisted of close coordination with Lockheed Martin, the government of Japan, and various logistics companies, as well as incorporating new IT systems.

Led and mentored over 20 Marines of various backgrounds, ages, and experience levels, managed a budget of over $195 million dollars, and procured assets worth over $5.6 million dollars. Furthermore, I served as the Continuous Process Improvement lead, implementing improvement projects across the organization.

Personally worked with the President and Founder Bob Woodson to assist in fundraising efforts, expansion plans, and outreach programs.

Served as a research intern for the Transnational Threats Project. I proofread drafts, and conducted research on terrorist organizations in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India. The culmination of these efforts was the report "Trends in Militancy across South Asia."
