Authorize, prioritize, document and control all configuration changes, maintenance or inspection requirements, control parts removal and replacement, technical directive compliance, preservation/de-preservation requirements, parts removed/installed, engine or subsystem modifications, weight and balance conformity and data acquisition system installations/removals to determine the possibility that an interaction of a combination of changes may result in an unsafe condition. Communicate daily plan to the team by planning work flow and turn over to second and third shifts. Brief/debrief each day’s flights to determine if the mission test requirements were met.

Pilot of a Beech King Air 200. Performed cross country troop, cargo, and VIP movements. Managed a safety program for fixed wing detachment of 2 King Airs and 15 pilots and support staff with oversight for planning and coordinating aviation risk control training programs within group and individual settings. Maintained fire and safety codes for facilities, ensuring minimal violations and accidents. Developing safety and occupational health program policy for the command as well as collection, analysis and utilization of data related to accidents, injury and property losses, and program accomplishment to determine areas where improvement is needed.

Pilot-in-Command on UH-60 A/L model helicopters. Provided MEDEVAC support to the Northern provinces of Iraq. Recovered over 20 wounded personnel. Also provided production control and maintenance testing for a 15-ship air ambulance company. Responsible for maintenance operations and logistical support at our 4 forward operating bases in Northern Iraq. Briefed upper management on current and special mission status. Managed and trained aviation maintenance teams supporting 24/7 maintenance operations. Managed technical and maintenance programs and projects to meet objectives or goals. Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on UH-60 A/L model helicopters. Oversaw aviation maintenance training, readiness, and health / safety programs for 54 National Guard units in 21 states. Provided logistic assistance, training, instruction, and evaluation on assigned aircraft and ground support equipment systems critical to preparing for deployment to combat operations. Managed safety program at six battalions throughout the regional area to support command objectives. Partnered with all levels of command in implementing risk control training, programs, and initiatives. Conducted OSHA safety inspections on all units. Performed as Pilot-In-Command throughout a four state area of operations.
