With nearly a decade of experience as the Medical Director of the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Institute at McLean Hospital, I lead the first intensive residential treatment program in the country established for patients with severe OCD. I am also an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where I teach and mentor the next generation of psychiatrists. My mission is to improve the lives of people with mental illness by providing evidence-based, compassionate, and personalized care.I am a physician-scientist with a strong track record of conducting clinical and translational research across psychiatric disorders, applying multimodal neuroimaging techniques to identify biomarkers and novel targets for therapeutics. As a PI and consultant, I have collaborated with federal, foundation, and industry funding partners to conduct clinical trials at all phases of development, including several INDs and IDEs. I have published in high-impact journals and received multiple honors, including the Boston Magazine Top Doc award for eight consecutive years. I am passionate about advancing mental health treatment and translating cutting-edge neuroscience research into clinical practice.
