As Senior Director, U.S. Member Development, I am responsible for the growth of The Conference Board U.S. Councils Program. I recruit executives from Fortune 500 companies to participate in these programs and manage a team of sales executives.General responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, and supervising Member Development Executives, recruiting senior most executives in a wide range of corporate functions, managing engagement, and advising & supporting senior management on the strategy, growth, and improvement of the Council Program.

The Conference Board council program is a 100+ year tradition of senior executives sharing knowledge, experience, and insights through more than 85 confidential peer networks. The Conference Board councils are well known in the business community for their access to timely, relevant research & leading thinkers, and for the strategic business focus of discussions.The Conference Board brings together senior executives from 2,000 of the world’s leading companies in 60 countries. It publishes widely respected economic indicators and research on a range of business and management issues, including productivity, human capital, functional excellence, corporate governance, and CEO opinion.My primary responsibilities include the research and recruitment of senior level executives for The Conference Board's 85+ councils which cover an extensive range of industries and corporate functions. Responsible for ensuring that the Company's business information database product was customized to each client's specifications. Collaborated with each client to define the product vision, understand their requirements, and gather, analyze and prioritize specifications. Partnered with the design, sales, marketing and support teams to ensure that client expectations and revenue goals were achieved. Accomplishments included:Successfully increased the Company's expert database by 10,000 by creating recruitment templates, designing and overseeing online job boards, and manually inputting experts into the database.Developed and implemented a website training manual enabling new employees to independently learn the company's operating systems. This manual provided greater consistency in the learning process and expedited new employee productivity.

Tucson, Arizona Area

Successfully created interpretive programs to educate visitors about Saguaro National Park and the Sonoran Desert. Fulfilled the Federal government’s “Preservation through Education” initiative. Coordinated Junior Ranger program project to educate children about the National Park Service. Bonded to collect and handle Federal funds.

Participated in a federally funded program for pre-service teachers, educating urban students with specialized needs. Primarily taught science and mathematics. Facilitated learning in a resource room for students who required individual attention.
