I lead the client facing businesses including Australian Equities; International Equities; CommSec Advisory; Derivatives Trading and the Sales teams. I also managed the Equity Capital Markets business within CommSec, supporting large and small corporates in capital raising and IPOs. I had a strong focus on Risk oversight in this role.I managed up to 300 staff in this role, whose key focus was the customer. My role was to manage the day to day business whilst leading innovative thinking around new opportunities, remain risk aware and continuous improvement of how we operated. CommSec is Australia's leading online stockbroker with >50% share of market. I was with the business for 21 years and I remain particularly proud of the growth during that period, the staff we mentored and developed and the service we continued to offer our customers.
