Was part of a highly skilled team who developed a start up FinTech that supports Australian based financial firms and brokers to invest in global markets on behalf of their customers. Offering an E2E solution for Onboarding new accounts; converting currencies via a honed FX offering and then executing equities trades in a dynamic global markets trading platform.

TechStacked is a Financial Technology company that produces cutting edge investment technology and APIs that allow our clients and partners the ability to pursue growth opportunities, reduce technology and resource costs whilst improving their customers' investing experience. TechStacked delivers value to our clients by connecting them with foreign investment markets that remain difficult to enter and engage with. We have developed and maintain strong offshore partnerships (Broking and FX) that allow us to deliver a new age investing experience through our unique UX, process flows and easy to access tools and services. Our aim at TechStacked is to make the end customers' investing experience both simple and interesting.

I am a long term member and Master Stockbroker with the SAFAA. I contributed to this important industry advocacy body (for over a decade) on a number of committees and more recently as a director on the board.

As GM of Broking & Markets arm of CommSec (within the Commonwealth Bank of Australia Group), I was a member of the ExCo for over 20 years. I lead the client facing businesses including Australian Equities; International Equities; CommSec Advisory; Derivatives Trading and the Sales teams. I also managed the Equity Capital Markets business within CommSec, supporting large and small corporates in capital raising and IPOs. I had a strong focus on Risk oversight in this role.I managed up to 300 staff in this role, whose key focus was the customer. My role was to manage the day to day business whilst leading innovative thinking around new opportunities, remain risk aware and continuous improvement of how we operated. CommSec is Australia's leading online stockbroker with >50% share of market. I was with the business for 21 years and I remain particularly proud of the growth during that period, the staff we mentored and developed and the service we continued to offer our customers.

Set up and managed the Margin Lending business for CommSec. Expanded that business over time to incorporate a complete Geared Investments solution with CFDs; Portfolio Loans; Protected Loans and Structured Investments. This book grew to $10bn including 50,000+ customers and accounted for 35% of the Australian Market.
