Whether the language is PHP or Matlab It’s all a matter of good ideas, good design and good code.I have among other things worked with:- Oceanography, meteorology and climate in general with focus on processes in the North Atlantic Ocean and Arctic Mediterranean.- Scientific cruises in the North Atlantic and Baffin Bay.- In situ met-ocean data collection at sea. Data and measurements are the sources for all knowledge of the real world.- Ocean modelling on super computers.- Scripts and software development written in Matlab.- Web applications and software written in PHP, JavaScript, CSS and HTML.- Managing large websites and resources required to run websites.- Making and maintaining large websites in CMS- Analysed data and prepared data to be used in plots and statistics and presented in browsers.- General project workProgramming and Scripting: Proficient with: Matlab, PHP, HTML, CSSFamiliar with: Python, Unix shell scripting, JavaScriptHave used: Fortran, GISI make web pages from "scratch" or with CMS, like Drupal.For the web I write server side applications in PHP, and frontend applications in PHP, JavaScript and HTML. - Other interests:* Data analysis* Remote sensing, satellite data and images. The electromagnetic field is fantastic. Some wavelengths can be seen, others can see the invisible.
