This was my very first job straight out of high school the summer before starting college. It was amazing how much I learned in the years here. It really solidified my love of combining programming, databases, and graphics.I started in the publications department completing Mil-spec drafting, and creating infographics and PowerPoint presentations.I quickly transitioned to a developer role in a team working on a project that combined with one of the first SQL engines (Watcom) with AutoCad and a custom user interface to visually, and object oriented walk-through a complex 3D representation of EC-135 aircraft. This was an amazing experience for me as I worked with some brilliant developers. My primary manager exposed me to the concepts of object-oriented programming AND object oriented analysis which can be applied to ANY business process or problem. After this project, I got to work on a series of challenging projects involving databases (more Watcom SQL, 4th Dimension, and Microsoft Access) including a large simulation project and working closely with engineers at skunks works project.I then transitioned to creating interactive multimedia training CD's and "web" sites (the world wide web was still in it's infancy) for the JTMD and JTAMS air force training program. I maintained a secret clearance while employed at TRW.
