Directed a diverse SCRUM development team to develop interface software for the Cerner integration within the VA. Coordinated wide-ranging daily project activities between VA government parties, AbleVets contractor, Cerner team, and several other VA government contractors to continually make progress in developing and delivering the Cerner interface to the legacy VistA IFC (Inter-Facility Consults) system. Lead project in maintaining IMS schedule, reported weekly to Senior VA leadership, managed project risks, managed SCRUM activities of development team, coordinated Cerner interface team activities, oversaw testing and compliance of the interface.

-Managed a team of 5-13 people-Managed an incident queue of up to 150 daily incoming Tier 2/3 end user reported incidents using the ServiceNow tool, with a peak of 283 incidents open in our backlog at once-Managed constant and critical informational needs of all levels of VA leadership. Was the main POC of the DST project re: end user issues to all parties in the VA. Directly interfaced with every level of DST leadership including the DST Business and Technical Project Managers, the DST VA Product Owner, VA OIT EPMO Project Managers, VA IT Operations' Service Management Organization (SMO) senior leadership, VA Community Care senior leadership, and the CTO of the VA.-Created an innovative ticket management process and training materials. Assembled, managed, trained, and directed a team to execute that process-Coordinated knowledge management efforts to spread knowledge of DST usage, training, and troubleshooting to all tiers of help desk support handling Mission Act/DST end user incidents across the VA organization.-Directly coordinated with Mission Act/DST partners (such as the PPMS (Provider Profile Management System) team, the MVI (Master Veteran Index) team, the HPS Tier 2/Clin 1 support team, and the VA Enterprise Service Desk) to manage a variety of cross-project incidents.-Built a system of constant and complete situational awareness of all DST incidents to allow for the best decision making by senior VA leadership-Created reporting formats to include the state, categorization, and trending of all incidents. Reported to all levels of VA leadership daily. At the peak time of the effort, also reported to senior levels of AbleVets management hourly.-Worked closely with all levels of AbleVets leadership including the DST Product Owner, the VP of Operations, and the CTO to ensure both that the veterans and providers were best served and that AbleVets was properly represented to our clients across our multiple Mission Act related projects.
