Armchair Productions are the audio experts for the travel industry. We create fully immersive infield and documentary-style studio podcasts for tourism and travel destinations. In the past year I created a campaign for Body Shop UK where I got FFS (For Fuck’s Sake) on shopfronts across the country, did a new branding campaign for Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands, wrote a speech for the launch of the AFL, and did a social media campaign for a dodgy plastic surgeon in Miami.

I ate a lot of cheesecake.When you've finished shooting a cheesecake made by the Philadelphia Cream Cheese chef, you can't just throw it out. So you have to eat it all. I don't like wasting food. Same with beer. We also poured lots of glasses of Sapporo beer. But, I did balance all that cheese cake and beer by eating all the free Weight Watchers frozen meals for my lunches.

When I wasn't gallivanting around the world or writing books, I was doing ad stuff at agencies including JWT, DDB, Y&R, Marmalade, Town Square, Helsinki Agency, Bundy Agency and Marilyn & Sons. I also helped win a whole bunch of pitches for GlaxoSmithKline, Beyond Blue, Australia Post Business, Tourism Victoria, Visit Canberra, Lend Lease Retirement Villages, Noosa Junction and Iveco Trucks.

We had to wear slacks.'Singo's' had a dress code. Even for creatives. No jeans and no shorts. But we did wear shorts or jeans in the Melbourne office. That's because the Slacks Masters (Senior Management) were in Sydney. We would get a memo the day before when they were coming down to Melbourne and we'd break out our slacks and loafers.

If you're old, then maybe you were like me and you just shaved a whole bunch of years of your CV and Linkedin profile. I worked at some really good agencies in Melbourne and London, but I didn't want to look too old.And in the middle of all that I spent three years working as a tour guide in Europe and a ski guide in Switzerland. I can't tell you how hard it was to have to get up and go skiing everyday.
