Though my education and background are musically oriented, I have learned and put to use a diverse set of skills that are integral to many professional applications.Management: I have effectively led a 501c3 organization (St. Louis Classical Guitar) since January 2022. This includes coordination with the board of directors, implementing new programming, coordinating and raising funding for programming, and maintaining and cultivating all organizational partnerships. Event Planning and Promotion: I have been in a lead position with regard to all facets of event coordination and management. I have also planned and coordinated marketing and advertising for guest appearances and clinics by internationally recognized artists,Creative Output: I have successfully created, implemented and managed performance, education, and community engagement based programming including outreach programs involving local schools, community centers, and charitable organizations.Marketing: I have been in a lead position with regard to all facets of event coordination and management including assembling entire seasons of performances for St. Louis Classical Guitar. I have also planned and coordinated marketing and advertising for appearances by internationally recognized artists. Music Education/Performance: As an educator, I have experience with a myriad of contexts including, ensemble direction, teaching at college, high school, and middle school level courses and private lessons. This has occurred as a faculty member of public and private institutions and in extra-curricular settings. As a performer, I have performed professionally in numerous venues and musical situations including college faculty concerts, private events, recording sessions, and public concerts.
