SCT is a growth oriented small company with an entrepreneurial culture. While at SCT, I was responsible for organically growing the engineering department removing a dependency on contract engineering. I recaptured the companies intellectual property and made sure it was protected from competition. I managed the offshore manufacturer and negotiated a supplier agreement that reduced our equipment cost 12% and improved product availability by negotiating preferential delivery terms. I led the technology development for our handheld embedded products and our windows applications.

Built a start up team of multidisciplined engineers to redesign the field access control and security equipment and the central station receiver and automation system.
