I work on a team to evaluate the creditworthiness of businesses ranging in size from commercial/middle market to corporate finance.

I was involved with some very exciting projects. I worked on a project evaluating institutional equity managers by creating comparative graphs for evaluation and calling each manager's references.To help better evaluate the consultant's recommendations for hedge fund investments, I built an efficient frontier of different hedge fund styles.To see how deflation will affect the portfolio, I ran regressions of stocks & bonds versus their explanatory economic variables (GDP, etc.). I also looked at rolling correlations to test the validity of our conclusions.I explored All Cap funds' ability to create alpha due to their ability to quickly switch between small-, mid- and large-cap stocks in different environments. The study led us to believe that All Cap funds could produce sustainable alpha above each of the comparative small-, mid- and large-cap funds' alpha. Further research needed to be done before declaring the study conclusive.

Great American Insurance Company gave me the opportunity to advance my analytical skills. I mastered Excel and Access while continuing to improve their processes. I learned SQL basics by making sure that proposed system changes adhered to legal and company requirements.

At the Real Estate Center, I refined my client service skills working with several members of the Real Estate Center's boards to make sure the Real Estate Program ran smoothly.

I learned a lot about finance from Ultimus Fund Solutions where I processed millions of dollars of trades daily for 9 mutual funds. I helped improve their process while gaining valuable experience working with financial professionals from around the country facilitating trades.
